Fuerte Metals is a Vancouver based resource company focusing on acquiring, exploring, and developing base and precious metals properties in the Americas. It is committed to advancing the exploration and development of its Placeton/Caballo Muerto copper project in Chile and the Christina & Yecora projects in Mexico. 

Formerly Atacama Copper Corp, the company underwent a name change August 2024 to better reflect the expanded resource base from a predominantly copper resource, to include gold and silver resources as a result of acquiring the Mexico assets of TCP1 in 2023.
